It’s time for seniors to start working on scholarship applications! Many outstanding scholarships are currently accepting applications, and even more will open in the coming weeks. Join us for our Fall Scholarship Workshops on two different dates, where you’ll get an overview of available opportunities, tips for crafting a strong application, and a chance to ask questions.

Virtual College Prep Retreat
Hopa Mountain invites rising high school seniors and juniors to join us for a virtual College Prep Retreat that will take place Monday – Wednesday, August 14 - 16, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. each day.
This training will help you:
· Research colleges that might be a fit for your interests
· Write strong college application and scholarship essays
· Develop a plan to complete college and scholarship applications, and
· Identify scholarships that you should apply for throughout 2023-2024

In-Person College Prep Retreat
This 3-day retreat will be an opportunity for teens that have been accepted into one of our Scholars of Promise programs to complete college and scholarship applications, as well as spend some me with other teens thinking about personal skills and navigating university life.

Scholars of Promise Summer College Preparation Retreat
Join us for our Scholars of Promise Summer College Preparation Retreat!
This summer's retreat will begin the afternoon of Sunday, July 22nd and wrap up midday on Thursday, July 26th. Scholars will stay in dorms on the Montana State University Campus and eat together in the dining hall. We will spend the week familiarizing ourselves with a college campus, resources available to students, having a couple classes with MSU professors, preparing for college applications and exploring scholarship resources, and participating in workshops to learn skills such as time management, budgeting, and self care. A draft schedule is available on the last page of the form packet downloadable below.
To participate:

3. Forms are due June 15th, but mail us your forms as soon as you can! Participation is on a first-come, first serve basis and there is limited space.

Live Your Best Life: Health Leaders Summer Camp 2018
Are you interested in improving the health of your community or pursing a health-related career? If so, join us for a camp where you will explore a wide range of health concepts with like-minded teens in a beautiful setting.
At camp, you will make friends, learn new skills, and discover ways to serve your
community. You will also learn about different concepts of health while enjoying a week in the mountains that includes hiking, camp fires, and white water rafting!
Hopa Mountain encourages applications from teens 14-17 from rural and tribal communities, especially those who will be first in their family to attend college. The goal of this camp is to provide teens with the opportunity to explore healthcare careers, healthy ways of living, and learn about college life.
